The Management TeamDavid Higgins – Operations - CEODavid is the Company’s General Counsel, and is responsible for all operational aspects of the business. He holds a B.Comm and an LLB from University College Galway, and is a qualified solicitor. David’s most recent position was that of a Solicitor in the Office of the Chief State Solicitor, the legal representative and advisor to the Irish Government. While employed in the Chief State Solicitor’s Office, David was involved in some of the largest commercial contracts involving the Irish Government. Before working in the Chief State Solicitor’s Office, David worked in private practice where he specialised in commercial law and litigation. Alan Crowley – FinanceAlan Crowley trained as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, and also holds an MBA from the Smurfit Business School (University College Dublin). He has worked in the banking and financial sectors. Prior to working with GiftFlex®, Alan worked as Chief Financial Accountant with De Lage Landen Ireland Company, which specialises in cross border leasing, structured asset finance and group treasury operations. De Lage Landen is the leasing subsidiary of Rabobank, the highest rated private banking organisation in the world. John Ennis – SalesJohn, brings with him 30 years’ experience in the card payments industry. Previously, John worked with HSBC Bank plc as Senior Corporate Account Manager for Card Services. He was responsible for selling and account management of merchant services to all HSBC corporate and institutional customers, including some of the largest retailers. John has built strong relationships with a wide variety of the UK’s largest companies that are involved plastic payments. John remains committed to the development of innovations within the card payment industry. Previously, John worked for Barclays Bank’s Barclaycard division. Philippe Cherpin – TechnologyPhilippe is a highly experienced international business development and marketing professional in the Telecommunication and Card Payment markets. He has worked at senior management positions in the areas of EFT-POS terminals, Credit Card Processing, and Cardholder-Not-Present Fraud Prevention. Philippe brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge in dealing with Major Card Schemes, Acquiring and Issuing Banks. Philippe worked for Ascom (UK) Ltd from, where he was managing business units, having also acted as General Manager and International Sales Manager. More recently, Philippe was involved in an attempt at resolving the growing issue of Credit Card Fraud with start-up company CQR Technologies Ltd. Just Plain Teamwork |
